Buick is a division of the American based automobile manufacturer General Motors or GM. Pioneer David Dunbar Buick founded the company. It was among the first American marques of automobiles. Before the establishment of General Motors, GM founder William C. Durant had served as Buick’s general manager and investor.

Buick’s current target demographic according to The Detroit News is “a successful executive with family.” For much of its existence in the North American market, Buick has been marketed as one of the most prestigious automobile brands, selling luxury vehicles positioned above GM’s mainstream brands, but still below the flagship luxury Cadillac division.

Buicks have been an American luxury car for years but many of their vehicles are leaving their divers frustrated. Many of these vehicles can be considered lemons under Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York law. If you have purchased a Buick that is having maintenance or mechanical problems that don’t seem to be going away, contact the top Buick Lemon Law experts of David Gorberg & Associates for information on how the Buick Lemon Law process functions in PA, NJ, and NY.

Is My Buick a Lemon

The first step in the Buick Lemon Law process would be to assess whether or not you actually have a lemon vehicle on your hands. As a consumer, you need to make sure you are aware of the basic criterion of any Buick Lemon Law case and buyback program. First, the vehicle must still be under warranty. This is true for purchased, leased, new or old cars. Next, does the issue reduce the value of the vehicle or pose a risk to occupants or other drivers on the road? Your Buick Lemon Law case has to fit one of those parameters. Lastly, it’s essential that you have already given the manufacturer a fair number of attempts to repair the mechanical issue before diving further into the Buick Lemon law process.

Common Buick Lemon Law Defects

Buick vehicles tend to break in certain ways. Here are some of the most common ways your Buick might be breaking down on you. If one of these issues sounds like your Buick, you might have a case…

  • Inaccurate Fuel gage
  • Transmission Errors
  • Insufficient Power
  • Gasket Leaks
  • Window Assembly Failure

Contact our PA, NJ and NY Buick Lemon Law Attorneys if this sounds like your Buick.

My vehicle is having hard downshifting issues. Mainly from 2 to 1 and occasionally from 3 to 2. I notice there isn’t a recall listed but it definitely seems like a serious issue. That could possibly cause damage later on. I’ve read online that it seems to be a pretty common issue with the Silverado 2014-2019. I would like an explanation and fix please. Chevrolet has checked and said it doesn’t read as an issue on computer reading. Thanks. https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

If you are like many Chevrolet owners who have consistently experienced these transmission issues, you may be entitled to compensation under the PA LEMON LAW, NJ LEMON LAW or the Magnuson Moss Warranty Improvement Act. Compensation may include a complete repurchase of your defective vehicle, a replacement, or a substantial cash reimbursement for damage the vehicle has already suffered due to the defect.
